We just got the audio of the police radio transmission from the scene of the shooting of DeAunta Farrow on June 22nd.
We've sorted out some of the details now.
The first audio on this recording is a cell phone call from officer Jimmy Evans, who was with Sergeant Erik Sammis that night.
The second section of the recording is the first radio call from Sammis to the police dispatcher after the shooting. In real time, the radio call happened about 34 seconds after the cell phone call.
The third section is a West Memphis dispatcher calling the local Arkansas State Police post, approximately 13 minutes after the shooting, to request assistance and an investigator at the scene.
