My favorite moments of the season during Tigers’ games at FedExForum consist of hearing the reaction of fans when former Tiger great Keith Lee is in attendance and is acknowledged by the p.a. announcer. The quiet Lee always gets a standing in long deserved ovation.
It’s a shame he wasn’t able to win a title in Memphis. Although he never speaks publicly, it’s good to know he’s back in the Tigers’ family. Calipari has embraced him and maybe at some point in the near future, Lee will play more of an active role with the University. Not that Lee owes it to the school, but maybe just because he wants to.
