its not gonna be a good day when they have to go to jail. what ever happened to people having heart and soul for their communities and watching out for the lives of others. another story of good cop gone bad.

These 3 are great guys.  There must be something else to do besides ruined these families lifes.  Look harder into Memphis, there is plenty to investigate.  Everyone knows this.

First off KRIS the police are crooked in Memphis just like in Olive Branch, what happened to protect and serve?? They ruined thier own lives by lying and trying to cover thier F- up police work up so they aint no better now are they?

I do not have a problem with the dog biting part. You run from the police it is safer for them to send the dog after you and you sort of deserve it if you run. Now if the two higher ranking officers did commit conspiracy, witness tampering, and making false statements to protect another officer then they should face the consequences.  If the truth would have been told from the beginning then they would only be facing poor judgment rather than a list of other charges.

I am curious Al. What makes these three officers great? Anything in particular or just a “hey they are cops” so they must be great kind of thing.

Most cops are bad.  Makes it hard for the good ones to serve.  I think there was a cover up in the Faulkner murder last year.

These are three good guys.  They love their families and this community.  They have protected and served Olive Branch proudly and with honor.  Remember, innocent until proven guilty.  May God bless them as they walk through this trial.

If you don't know the facts, really know the facts, you don't need to cast blanket accusations on these men. If all you have is what you have seen on TV you don't know as much as you think. Im with Al, these are good men of high character and in the end that will shine through. God will be with them through till the end.

I pray for these 3 men.  I know each one.  They are fine, honorable men.  I hope they know that a "army" of friends are behind them 100%.

I don't know why we have any police or soldiers because all we do is bring them up on charges all the time. The police have their hands tied all the time, lets go back to the wild wild west and everybody do their own thing. They bring our military up on charges for torturing prisoners yet it is torture to the family or the person whose head is cut off on TV. What a wonderful world we live in. Try these officers in the press AS USUAL THEY HAVE NO RIGHTS.

Its funny how you always portray cops in the news " presumed innocent   until proven guilty."  why don't do you them just  like all the others that are indicted guilty. they'll probably be acquitted and nothing ever done just like their forefathers from MISSISSIPPI !!!!

There are some crocked cops there, here, every where. Police officers always try to use the authority/title that they have against people. When you do wrong, wrong follows you. If it is true, make them examples for other crocked cops. Wake up America!!!!

God will be with these 3 police officers to the end.  It is not our place to judge these men, we all know that what you hear in the news is always the part that will sell.  God forbid that the good news be reported.  Let's go thru the years of these officers careers and give them some praise for what they do every day for the citizens of Olive Branch.  I don't know about you, but I couldn't get paid enough to put my life on the line, day in and day out and be criticized for standing up for my fellow officers who I felt did nothing wrong.  Why is it that wrong is the way of the world?  Leave these guys alone and let them do their job and that is to protect!!!!!

Your higher ups knew what was going on so they need to invest the Chief, Mayor and Board of Alderman also. This three might love their families and jobs but what they done was wrong. This is not the first cover-up they have done. There is alot going on in the OB Police Dept. Dig a little dipper. The policies and procedures that they have only apply for certain people. There are officers that get in trouble for the same thing but it is who you know and how much ass you kiss whether or not you get in trouble, wrote up, put on administrative leave with pay or without pay. You have officers that have be fired several years ago and now have their job back at the police dept. and some are in a high ranking position. This invesigation has been going on for a long time but these three have kept their position and continued to work while under investigation, WHY?????????

I think the bigger isssue is the cover up, forget that this young man ran from the police, that's not the issue!!!! I know these guys, grew up in the same town with them all my life. They all graduated from OB high school together. This is no more than the GOOD OLD BOY system hard at work, seems it went into overtime where this matter is concerned. The officer that complained is not a long time resident of OB, again, it's not about the RUN, but the coverup. I can't help but think these guys took an oath when they were inducted as police officers.They should maybe reflect on the content of that oath!! If this guy has really got the two superiors on tape blowing this off to protect their long time friend, they're screwed!!! It will come out in court about their relationships to one another..        

Way would you say forget he ran. That is the point completely. He ran, dog caught him. I do believe this young man was either a criminal or was suspected of being one, and his action (running) caused the reaction (dog sic'em). His fault, he is responsible.  Now tell me that white folks don't understand getting dogs set on them because whites will never understand the pain of 400 years of oppression......you folks make me ill.

Listen, the Feds can indict all day and the bottom line is what can they prove. Does the old claim by prosecutors of "I can indict a ham sandwich" give much clue as to how low that legal bar is? I would be curious to see if the FBI's evidence can withstand the defense challenges?

Ima you say you grew up here in OB. You say you know these men. You say that the complaining officer is not a long time residnet. You had better run to the coffee shop and get a little small town grapevine action. The officer you speak of is a long time resident, he went to school in OB, he grew up with these guys, he played ball with these guys, and GASP his father might be an OB Alderman right now.
I asked for courtesy for these men, don't believe all that you read or see on TV and yes don't believe everything you hear even in the coffee shop.

Nope didn't get fired!!!! Still working...........I agree the suspect shouldn't have ran from the police but it all boils down to the COVER-UP. These 3 all took Oaths of Office when they were first hired. Doesn't that mean anything anymore? Two of the three are in administration positions.....What kind of people do you want running your local police department???? Honest officers or ones that cover up certain facts??

I'm glad I left when I did several years ago.  The entire city is controlled by a bunch of bigamists that commit crimes, then go to church on Sunday just to gossip.  They never have been interested in their own lives - only messing up everyone else's.  I truly don't know all of the facts, and I don't care to - just goes to show that administratives in OB are not trustworthy.  They are MOSTLY back-stabbers and there's always people under them with a lot more intelligence.  Guys, sorry you're in this, but I personally know of things you have done that do not make you the greatest "FAMILY" men.  Good Luck and may justice be served.

No really more conservative than middle of the road. Thank you for your admission of mis-information. I recall just recently in the news that an FBI agent was under federal indictment for somthing sinister (i apologize for not remembering the details) when the star witness took the stand he was found to not be credible and the FBI agent was found not guilty. So, do bad things happen to good people? Everyday! People for sometime now have shot at people at the in high places. Why? Because they are easy targets.  So, do men of high moral character go before federal grand juries? Yes they do. Do we convict them in this forum? Some would try. They get the benefit of 12 peers to make that call. Ima can you look a man and his child in thier faces and pull the door open on the gallows or should we leave it up to the people that are charged with that. Im just a supporter of those who need supporting.

As a city employee I am not surprised the actions the spineless mayor of our city has taken with this situation.   The best thing that could happen is the mayor and his "appointed" management personal be exposed to all of the hell these officers are facing.  Mayor Rikard makes it no secret that he does not want to be involved with the media.  Guess what, its coming.  Between both the police and fire departments we WILL take the city back.  All it takes is a little investigation from someone who is not scared to piss of the mayor and his loyal followers.  Rikard is nothing more than King Willie but white.  Funny how everytime something negative hits the media about OB it disappears.  I have personnally witnessed how the city leaves everyone out to dry.  Its nothing but political crap.  

Why doesn't someone contact the alderman Maurice Wallace and his son Greg Wallace who are responsible for all of these false charges facing these innocent officers.

This isn't a forum about you and your problems peach its about hard working police officers getting dumped on for doing thier jobs. Save the retoric for some other forum or platform, just say things like "I am with you guys" here.

It is about supporting three police officers.  If some of our city officals were not such cowards, the three officers would be supported by the city instead of be left out in the cold.

Impeach Sam needs to learn all the facts prior to naming names. The only people responsible for these charges are the officers who are charged. maybe it just upsets you because you wouldn't be man enough to stand up for what is right. The Alderman Wallace nor his son, made these 3 officiers do what they are charged with and if the charges weren't valid, the FBI wouldn't be pursuing them. There needs to be more people who stand up for what is right. What would someone have to gain by trumping up false charges on these officers? The answer is NOTHING. If this man was your son or relative your attitude would be alot different. I am glad there are still some people left in this world that have morals and stand up for what is right despite the personal and emotional toll it takes on them, more people including yourself could stand to learn a few things from them!

How can you say they are 3 cops.  When you do wrong it will catch up with you later and who knows it might not be so good on your end.  (jayman) putting a guy in handcuff and putting a dog on him is not doing a job, if so......let them do it to you or a love one and see how you would act.

Ok, let me say this.  You could indict a ham sandwich.  I know these guys very well.  They are not only good men, but they are being made an example of.  Some might say it is appropriate to make an example of these men.  They would be misinformed.  ----  I can not dealve into the case for fear of being subject of FBI probing.  --- I can say that these three will have their day in court and when the verdict of "not guilty" appears, don't be surprised.  Having the knowledge I do about the case gives me a vantage point others surely do not have.  
These guys are not criminals.

What is unfortunate is that every *** who got caught with weed while driving home from work, or every bitter man or woman who was justifiably arrested, cited, or stopped by the police, wants to call every police officer crooked.  It is their way of attempting retribution.  I have news for these people, "You are still the same piece of crap you always were and you know it!"

Are there crooked police officers out there?  Absolutely!  Are these 3 crooked?  Absolutely not!

People have a lifetime to arm-chair quarterback what a police officer has 5 seconds to make a decision on.  Walk in our shoes for a day, just one day, and then see if you are so eager to criticize.  
Truth is, noone on this page knows the real circumstances other than me. The verdict will be, I assure you, "not guilty".  If I am wrong, I will apologize to each member on this page individually.  I know I will be right though.

There is more to this story than has been reported by the media.

Scott is a great guy, I have known him since college.     Can't ask for a nicer guy..  He loved his job.  

How many other police officers would not try and keep peace within his force ?  Scott was probably just trying to smooth things over.  Why Wallace started this whole thing I do not know.

I think you are missing the point here, ALL THE FBI REPORTS say that the kid was HANDCUFFED and on the ground so how was he running? It was stated in the report, besides I have another one for you. Now your GREAT LAW ABDING POLICE OFFICE is breaking the law AGAIN. He started a transportation business and calls himself "OFFDUTYTRANSPORTS" on a web site called USHIP.COM If you go to that site you can find him there by looking up his profile name I just said. BUT what he didnt do which he should do like ANY MOTOR CARRIER in the country is apply for DOT AUTHORITY and get a DOT & MC Number just like if he was running a TRUCKING BUSINESS which he was. Its a FEDERAL GOVERNMENT REQUIREMENT but guess what he THUMBED HIS NOSE to the FEDS again. Your fine POLICE OFFICER that you say can do no wrong didnt do what is REQUIRED. He is lucky he didnt get caught @ one of the many weigh stations on our highways because if caught you could get jail time up to 1 year & a $10,000.00 fine for each time he shipped something. Dont say he didnt know this because he had to sign a user agreement that USHIP.COM requires you to do before you can log onto the site and REMEMBER HE IS A POLICE OFFICER they stop trucks all the time and check this stuff out. Just be thankful he didnt crash and someone get hurt or killed like that bus did a few months ago and then he would be in more HOT WATER just like they are FOR NOT HAVING DOT AUTHORITY, "OH but its OK he is a COP". Another thing I wonder if he REPORTED ALL THAT MONEY that he made off that site to the IRS? Something tells me he didnt do a thing but its so easy to find out just add up the amounts in his PROFILE, so dont say how your great police officer respects the law because AGAIN he broke it and there is proof of it.
