A Memphis firefighter has been relieved of duty, accused of beating his wife.
Johnny Harrison was arrested January 1, 2008 on domestic assault charges. Police say Harrison and his wife began fighting in their home early Monday morning, New Year's Eve. Officers say every time his wife tried to leave, Harrison would grab her, choke and hit her.
Eyewitness News Everywhere uncovered this is not the first time Harrison has been in trouble with the law. He was arrested in June 2007 after fighting with his wife. According to the police report, he had beaten her when they arrived home from a party.
