mnshadow53-thought i would leave a comment then thought better of it.  i just know someone would be jumping up and down screaming.  he'll do his time and return to either be ellected to or appointed to another position where he will continue doing what he does best.  why memphis government wants to continue on with this useless cycle i'll never know.  it accomplishes nothing and wastes taxpayers money.  trials are expensive.

I am curious if the sentencing includes returning funds.  If not, why not.

if you know of a non-african american that is doing something illegal-turn them in.  they even have  a hot line that pays you for information.

I guess I will start referring to myself as Scottish/Irish American. Na, Ill just stay plain ole american. More corruption in politics? Say it isn't so. I wish that some competent blacks, b/c there are many in this city, would be put in power, but it seems like a lot of the ones we get are the high profile crooks or are easily corrupted. Our city council just makes me cringe except for a few names who I think are on the up and up, but some white and some black are crooked as the day is long. My only regret is that the feds take these crimes so very lightly, its really a joke, I mean com'on 26 months, heck if I didnt have religion I would do 26 months white collar time for the amount of money some of these people got and smile the whole time I was playing badmitten in prison. They cannot give them at least 5-10? Com'on, especially Senator Ford, they are talking about reducing his puny sentence, and he should get 12-15 just for the one here and if convicted in Nashville on the 800k, double that and not concurrent(concurrent, who came up with that crap anyway?)WE NEED STIFFER SENTENCES OR THIS WILL CONTINUE

we do need stiffer sentences-but there isn't enough room in the prisons for all of the offenders.  so they give shorter sentences and release early.  its sad.  i think the country should invest in some devil islands of our own.  take the worst of the worst and leave them on these islands.  let them kill each other off.  instead releasing these monsters w/o informing the people they will be living next door too.  the serial murders-rapist and the child molesters should be quests of these lovely vacation spots.  they have earned it.
