As a mother of an almost 17 month old baby, I just don't see how that is a rational way to react to a baby crying. I just don't get it. Babies cry to communicate. And you can't scare a baby into being quiet. It seem's like common sense to me. It puzzles me that its not common sense to everyone else...  O.o

This piece of filth needs to be strapped to an Electric chair and broadcast his end on HBO so the rest of these child killing SOB's  know the penalty of killing an innocent child.

A child that will know nothing but eternal peace.  You will get yours.... I just hope some sorry behind Liberal Democrat think he was judge harshly and set him freee to kill again.

12-year-old beats toddler to death with bat, police say

LAUDERHILL, Florida (AP)  -- A 12-year-old boy beat a toddler to death with a baseball bat because she was crying while he was trying to watch TV, authorities said.

The boy, who was not identified, was arrested Saturday on first-degree murder charges, Lauderhill police spokesman Lt. Mike Cochran said.

He was arraigned in juvenile court Sunday and remained in custody, but it was not clear if he had an attorney or if anyone else would be charged in the girl's death.

What a senseless killing.  But aren't most killings senseless?  We have a whole generation of pseudo adults who have no idea how to control their tempers or postpone gratification.  If a child is crying, there is a reason.  If you have ruled out all the basics like hunger, dirty diaper, lonely or scared, then just walk away until you cool off.  You don't bash the child's head into a bedpost to make them be quiet.  I agree with Oh yeah.....what is this world coming to?  I suggest you read the Bible.  It tells you what the world is coming to...and it is coming fast!

Speaking as the father of a child who was extremely willful and cried incessantly I can understand how someone could break if you were idiotic enough to let it reach that point.  You know you can just put the child in the crib in it's room, stuff a towel under the door and watch 30 minutes of TV.

A child is just frustrated that it can't communicate its needs and never deserves to be hit.  Let it cry itself out.

What really makes my blood boil is these people who literally torture their child for months and years.  A momentary break - sterilize him and lock him up - months of torture and abuse - well they cry out for something very long, very slow and medieval.  Very medieval.

His death should be in a similar way.  East Memphis, you should never leave your baby in a room and stuff a towel under the door and just watch TV for 30 minutes.  There maybe something wrong with the baby, and since they can't talk, they do it through crying.  I understand that we all get upset with our children at one point or another, but we still have to be patience.  Sometime letting the child cry itself out is still not the solution, something else could be serious wrong with the baby.  I agree with you no one has the right to harm a child in anyway.  

Spray him down with Sugar water and stake him out naked near a fire ant mound and kick the mound ......

Come back two days later and check on this retched dog.  Fire ants are some mean buggers.

In Malaysia they have a punishment called "Stumping."  At sunrise they take a rusty nail while your hands is tied in back of you, and give you a choice of which testicle they hammer the nail through till sunset.

Yes, my first impression is to want to stomp this scum bag's testicles, then while he is crying in pain tell him to shut up the crying so he can feel what it's like to not be able to  control his crying before I kick his brains out of his head.  Yep, I would feel good, but unfortunately, it would not prevent other children from being tortured or killed at the hands of so called "adults".  Folks, what I'm about say in know way is intended to defend or excuse people that harm the most innocent of our society, but this is a problem perpetuated by our own society.  Meaning,  how many of us have voiced our concerns to these tragedies to our elected representatives ( local, state and Federal ). Up to now,  I am just as guilty as everyone else who has only thrown out angry responses to myself or forums like this, yet have done nothing else but feel angry and question why.  If myself and everyone else who feels that something more than anger must resonate to defend those that are truly unable to defend themselves, then we have an obligation to demand changes or expectations that would make child abuse prevention the number one priority of our society.  Child abuse should stir anger and action in every human that has been blessed with a conscience. I am challenging myself and everyone else to do something.  Email, voice mail, rally at the courthouse, make suggestions, demand something more than lip service from the people who represent us ( the taxpayers ) as well as for the children, who cannot speak for themselves.
