Tigers Drop to #2 in AP College Baskeball Poll

Following a heartbreaking defeat to Tennessee, the Memphis Tigers have dropped one spot to number two in the Associated Press College Basketball Poll, with the Vols taking the top position.

The Tennessee Vols defeated the Memphis Tigers 66-62 on Saturday, February 23 at FedExForum, putting an end to the Tigers undefeated season. The Tigers are now 26-1, while the Vols' record stands at 25-2.

The top 25 teams in the AP college basketball poll:

We were lucky UT only won by 4 points.  They aren't nearly as good as the Tigers, but Memphis missed so many opportunities!  However, the monkey is off their backs now and the only win really counts in the playoffs!
