Several Tigers Players' Apartments Broken Into During NCAA Tournament

MEMPHIS, TN - While the Memphis Tigers players were in San Antonio, Texas, trying to win the NCAA National Championship, crooks in Memphis were breaking into their campus apartments.

University of Memphis officials say several Tigers players apartments were broken into, but none of the players have reported anything missing. Campus police are investigating the incidents as vandalism.

Hasn't this happened before?  If so, why weren't special efforts made to have at least video surveilence and monitor alert systems on their homes?  This is outrageous.

Campus Security needs to do a better job of policing the dorms when the teams are away. Their schedules are common knowledge. Know body should be roaming around the dorms when they are away.  This is for all the teams, basketball, football, band etc.
