DNA Report: Man Convicted for 1992 Missouri Murder Didn’t Do It

ST. LOUIS (AP) -- DNA evidence from a 1992 murder could not have come from the man who was found guilty of the killing and is serving a 60-year sentence.

The Southeast Missourian reports that tests on blood samples taken from the murder scene of Angela "Mischelle" Lawless have found they are not from Joshua Kezer. Kezer has been in prison nearly 15 years for the crime.

Lawless was killed in her car at a highway exit ramp in November 1992.

15 years out of someones life - probably because some cops and prosecutors developed tunnel vision.

Impossible to compensate.

they should have not made such a huge mistake. it  must've been an accusation. Thay should give this guy money for wasting 15 years of his life rotting in a cell for a crime he did not commit.

Obese inmate demands food 2:12

An obese accused killer is suing because he's lost too much weight in prison. Prime News' Mike Galanos has the story.

Why can't he eat what a cow leaves behind?

What a sad example of our "enlightened" culture. Can anyone imagine what it must be like to sit in a cell and know that you are innocent? I know I can't. DNA testing has been around for a long time, why did this take so long? Every case that was decided on circumstantial evidence should be reviewed without delay. How can these prosecutors sleep at night? The really sad part is that this guy will struggle for the rest of his life for this. What a shame.
