MONTEAGLE, Tenn. (AP) - Authorities continue to search the rugged terrain around Monteagle for a man suspected in the fatal shooting of a Grundy County Sheriff's deputy.
The suspect is 29 year-old Kermit Bryson, who is described as a white man, 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 130 pounds. He has green eyes and several tattoos.
The name of the deputy was not immediately released, nor the name of a Monteagle city police officer who received wounds in the same incident before dawn Thursday.
