“TBI Most Wanted” Memphis Man Surrenders

Robert Earl Hall
SHELBY COUNTY, TN - A Memphis, who was added to the TBI’s Most Wanted list, has turned himself into authorities.  According to a Tennessee Bureau of Investigation spokesperson, 23 year-old Robert Earl Hall contacted the TBI Monday morning, June 23, 2008, and surrendered.

According to authorities, Hall was wanted by Newbern Police for one count of Attempted First Degree Murder, Especially Aggravated Burglary and Aggravated Assault.  Investigators say Hall broke into a house just after midnight on March 28, 2008, and shot the homeowner in the leg.  Hall also fired two more shots into a bedroom where another person was staying in the house.  Both of the victims were able to get into a bathroom and hide, according to police.

Police say Hall stole a purse and one of the victim’s credit cards before leaving the home.

The Tennessee Bureau of investigation says Hall has an extensive criminal past that includes evading arrest, theft, assault, and burglary.
