According to a court document, Terry Terrell Booker has been charged with First Degree Murder in the shooting death of 27 year-old Milton Trezevant. Investigators say the shooting happened around 7:55 p.m., June 18, 2008, in the area of Horn Lake Road and Hewlett.
Police say Booker’s mother witnessed the shooting and told investigators her son was one of the people involved in Trezevant’s murder. Police say when they arrested Booker, they found a Glock 9mm handgun that had been stolen from DeSoto County, Mississippi.
Booker was on probation for Aggravated Assault at the time of the murder, according to the Affidavit.
Authorities say Booker will also be charged for being a convicted felon in possession of a handgun.
Police say they are still searching for a second suspect in the case.
