NASHVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Authorities claim a Stamps man hired a hitman to kill his estranged wife in exchange for $5,000 and a pickup truck.
Authorities arrested 63 year-old Wyouman David Camp and his sister, 74 year-old JoAnn Hicks, on suspicion of being accomplices to first-degree murder in the Memorial Day shooting of 42 year-old Robin Camp.
Robin Camp was found shot to death in the Nashville Family Dollar store, where she was manager.
Earlier, police arrested 37 year-old Harry Eugene Surber, a sanitation worker from Ashdown, on suspicion of first-degree murder.
"David and Robin Camp were estranged and Robin Camp had left David a few weeks prior to the murder. It is believed David Camp and JoAnn Hicks solicited Harry Surber to murder Robin Camp," prosecutor Bryan Chesshir said. "It is also believed David Camp and JoAnn Hicks advised, encouraged, planned and aided Harry Surber in planning and committing the murder."
Hicks and Camp are to be arraigned Wednesday in Howard County Circuit Court.
