DYERSBURG, Tenn. (AP) - A 16 year-old boy will stand trial as an adult in the killing of a man at a Dyersburg motel.
A Juvenile Court judge on Tuesday ordered the first-degree murder case against Darius Brown moved to adult court.
Brown is held in lieu of $125,000 bond in the May 4 shooting death of Karl Maurice Franklin of Gardendale, Ala., at the Sunrise Inn.
Also facing a murder charge in the case is 18 year-old Keaston Danterrian Tipton.
A third man was also arrested as a suspect, but faces lesser charged of conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery.
That suspect is Wilmon Moses.
