SPRINGDALE, Ark. (AP) - Authorities say the baseball coach at Springdale Har-Ber High School has been arrested on rape allegations made by two teenage boys.

41 year-old Michael R. Reagan turned himself in yesterday on two rape counts. Springdale police say two boys, ages 14 and 13, alleged that Reagan had sexually molested them between fall 2007 and April 2008. Neither of the boys live in Springdale and police said the boys did not attend Har-Ber.

Reagan was released on $20,000 bond last night.

Fort Smith-Fayetteville television station KFSM reported that one of the boys tested positive for a strain of herpes. Authorities obtained a search warrant that allowed them to test Reagan's blood, and the station reported he tested positive for the same strain of the sexually transmitted disease.

Superintendent Jim Rollins says Reagan is suspended pending an investigation by the school district.

Prosecutors say Reagan will receive an arraignment date, when he will enter a plea, and then be given a trial date. Reagan is represented by Fayetteville attorney John Everett.
