MEMPHIS, TN – Police say an argument over a pet dog lead to the shooting death of a Memphis man.
According to investigators, the shooting happened around 11:00 p.m., Saturday, July 19, 2008, in the 4000 block of Kenosha.
Witnesses told police, Marques Gosa, 30, was arguing with his brother about Gosa’s pet dog when a gun appeared. According to the witnesses, the gun went off during the fight, leaving Gosa with a gunshot wound to the chest.
Police say Gosa was taken to the Delta Medical Center, where he later died.
According to the Memphis Police Department, no criminal charges will be filed in this case.
