What wrong with people today? Every time I hear the news it's more and more childern being killed by the people who are supposed to be the one's taking care of them. It just makes me sick...

Death by lethal injection....would be too kind for this monster! Why was he "out on bond", with a 2nd degree MURDER CHARGE pending!? That judge should be "dethroned".  He took the life of an innocent, totally defenseless toddler. He should not be allowed to "bond out" ever again, for any reason. He may have been a male parent, but in no way did he ever resemble....a father!

I truly agree with all of you. Not only should he be punished but the mom does to. She watched him as he was killing that defenseless child. "Off with there heads" for the both of them. How can a mother sit there and allow him to beat her like that? He shouldn't have been around her anyway with all ready facing 2nd degree murder. A killer has no conscious. when i first read this article, i was disgusted by what he had done, i am a mother of two and i just dont understand how people could hurt their children and in most case it turns out to be their own chidren, i hope he gets the death pentaly for what he has done my heart and prayers goes out to the mother of the child and her family...i truly hope that this mother didnt seat back and let this so call person do that to her child if so she should get what he deserves...

Why do black people keep using slavery as the reason for their situation? Slavery was abolished over 140 years ago. The last slave died in 1979 and was reportedly 137 yrs old. So unless your 166 years old, you have no idea what being a slave truely was like.
Stop using slavery as your crutch. I wish there was a 12 step program for that disability, because that is what it is.
YOU make your life what it is. YOU have the control of your destiny. No one owns you, you can go any where in this country today.
Also, unless your mentally challenged, you should pretty much so know the difference between right and wrong by the age of 8, irregardless whether that means beating someone to death, rape, doing drugs, dropping out of school, etc.

It sickens me to hear when children, as innocent as they are, have to suffer due to another person's ingnorance. I am a first time father and I know it can and will be frustrating due all because I am a young parent. But with love and proper education on parenthood, I know my child is going to be taken care of and loved. With that point we have all got to be more proactive in educating and helping young parents today, so that tragedies such as this can be prevented, by any means I am not saying what he did was wrong and should not be punished. That little girl definately deserves justice, but we got to reclaim the philosphy, "It takes a village to raise a child".

I was a product of a poor black area, but I didn't let that stop me from becoming something, like a proud, married, hard-working father of two. There is no excuse. If people don't become something, it's their own fault. The reason the black community has so many fathers like this loser, is that they don't stop it. They idolize it. Womanizers and drug dealers are "cool" in those areas. Do you think a father in a tribe in Africa that killed his own kid or another child would be allowed to live? They had their way of dealing with them. Tribal Africans had much more respect for life than the "african-americans" that act like this do today. Until these thugs aren't glorified in the black community, there will continue to be senseless killings of innocent children  and adults.

Too Mrs.Vonn i agree with what you say about the father. Im a neighbor of them. It was misreported but the mother was not there at the time of the tragedy. She came home from a long day at work to find her child reported dead. So don't fault the mother for that sick creature action. Not only was the child a victim of the abuse but she was also. My neighbor was a heavily ectasy pill taker which also influences his nasty behavior. He need to be punished to the fullest, but lets not through the blame on the mother only thng she did was go to work to help her kids and herself survive. Static---I totally agree with you except for one point. Before I get to that, though, the question should be asked, Why was she with some lazy, good for nothing, bum that just sat at home while she went to work? If she really wanted better, how did he fit in to that?
   Now, on to my disagreement. I hear people use the same line about "no one tells the Jews to get over the Holocaust". My question for those that use that is, When was the last time you heard a Jew use that as an excuse for their unfair treatment? I know I haven't heard it in a long time. Not to mention the fact that their mis-treatment was only about 60 years ago. The Jews haven't even had as much time to "get over it".
