Seriously, you need to get another post. You can't blame slavery for everything bad that happens. Why don't you start putting the blame where it belongs, ON THE PEOPLE THAT DO THE CRIME! Unless someone actually has a mental problem, the only person to blame is themselves. I've known people that grew up in African tribes, and they wouldn't act anything like our so-called "african-americans". When someone commits a crime there, they are punished in a way that will deter them from doing another crime.
So, really, stop blaming slavery. If this was 10, 20, even 80 years after slavery, sure. Fathers do have a lot to do with how kids act, so I understand your point, but that is the fault of a community that idolizes the "man" that can sleep with as many women as possible. Once that community gets their priorities back, then things will change.
Also, if you think fathers are the key, step up and be a father to some or start a program that makes real men stand up and be a father to them. Do something instead of passing the blame.
