2009 AMERICAN ACCORDIONISTS' ASSOCIATION FESTIVAL

From July 15-19, 2009 at the University of Memphis Holiday Inn Suites.

 

" Memphis will be the Accordion Capital of the World"

* Thursday, July 16 - 11:30 AM - Luncheon Concert featuring the eclectic Bruce Gassman, concert and symphony accordionist Mary Tokarski and "Roland V" champion Joe Natoli. $25.00 admission includes luncheon and concert.

 

* Thursday, July 16 - 7 PM - Cabaret Night with Joey Miskulin and Riders in the Sky - "Comedy & Western" legends, seven times Western Music Association's "Entertainers Of the Year", performing their superlative music and wacky brand of western wit. $30.00 admission.

 

* Friday, July 17 - 12 Noon - Massed Band performance at Graceland - You can't afford to miss the wondrous auditory and visual spectacle of almost 100 accordion players performing the very best of Elvis at one of the most popular destinations in the U.S. It's now or never!

 

* Friday, July 17 - 7 PM - Star-Studded Evening Concert and Reception features a fabulous array of accordion artists including the multi-faceted jazz sounds of Jeff Lisenby and The NashVegas Jazz, "Liberace of the Accordion" Tony Lovello and Joe Natoli. $25.00 admission.

 

* Saturday, July 18 - 6 PM - Gala Banquet highlighted by the AAA Festival Orchestra conducted by Randy Martin and the 2009 Massed Band conducted by Frank Busso, Sr. Cocktail Hour music by Bruce Gassman, dinner at 7:00 PM.
