    Mlgw Rates

I think that it is ridiously how the rates @ mlgw are going up every month.. Jerry Collins need to be put out. cause he is the one who raise the solid waste fee up and it is just ridiously. someone needs to step in and do something about it...while that blogger putting pics on the net about murder victums. he need to be talking about protesting mlgw with them high *** rates to people who can't even afford them.. and that's barely making.. i see why a lot of people move out of memphis....

    Re: Mlgw Rates

I know that there are a lot of Memphians who cannot pay their utility bills.
I also have lived in other states, where the utilities was separated, meaning, you pay your gas here with this company, your water, here with that company, and so on. Let me tell you, that is the last thing in the world,  the citizens here want. because, it will be more expensive than it is now, if the utilities ever split up into multiple companies.

So,  choose your poison. Just hope and pray MLGW  never opts out, and sells it utilitty company, because if they do, they will spilt the utilities out to the highest bidders, cause they would make more money that way, unless a bigger utility company somewhere else decided to buy MLGW out by offering them some billions to sell out..

The only way you can change things, is by writing MLGW, writing the Mayor(That's a long shot), the Govenor, this news station(Eyewitness News), and voice your complaints. I actaully see MLGW changing some of their policies. They know that here in Memphis, there are a lot of poor poeple, and the poor will need help with their utilities, in the cold months and the hot months too.

    Re: Mlgw Rates

    Bullcrap.
The rates are determined by the federal government, if the companies split up the nearest suppliers would buy them. The Citizens here do not enjoy paying a premium for substandard service and scam to artificially inflate rates and bills, target areas for false billing, and that phony fight between management and meter readers that gets your bill done wrong when you are in one of those targeted areas.
Sue for the MLGW overcharges to the tune of $2.16 billion dollars per year of free money from your pocket for them to hide in inaccurate billing i.e. guestimating,

Yep, your best bet is to get a lawyer that can sue them for the overcharged money.
