    Let it Go!

the trivial annoyances, even though they are virtually meaningless, can overwhelm you if you let them.

Be diligent about the things that truly mater, and be very flexible about the things that don't. There's no sense in wasting your precious time arguing or agonizing about something that doesn't  really make a difference anyway. Learn to let go and let God and rise above the petty squabbles. You'll end up with much more time and energy available to work  on the really important things like saving one more for the Kingdom.

Instead of carrying frustration like so many trophies, choose to leave the small, insignificant ones behind. You won't impress anyone by constant complaining , and it won't add value to your life, so Let it Go!!!!!!!!!

Get in the habit of letting go of the small, meaningless matters. And delight in the freedom, effectiveness, and peace that you create for your life.  Let's all get together and continue to build the Kingdom and not tear each other down. Be Blessed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Personally I think Brown Baptist should have won because the Male Chorus is simply "awesome"! They are perfect examples of what men of God should be & they can sing! Brown has been my home for the past 7 years & there is absolutely nothing like it... I also believe all the choirs did a wonderful job. The big picture is not who the winner is but that this was done for the good of the Lord. When you begin to add in the extra's you take the glory away from the Lord. I'm sure none of us Christians intend to do that! :O I was truly amazed to see the number of people that came out to support this event. What we should be doing is congradulating all the choirs on a job well done. I believe this was an event to go down in history. I hope that this can become an annual event in the future. I will close with this... "When all God's children get together, what a time, what a time, what a time!!" :)

    Have a terrific Tuesday,

Wow it sounds as if you where very disappointed.  I don't think the goal was necessarily who won.  This program achieved many goals.  Showing off new talent, exposing  gospel music to people that may have not come to a regular church service, and perhaps inspiring some lay members to come back to church.  It was absolutely wonderful.  Miracle temple did a wonderful job and I do agree that maybe they should have been the overall winners.  But I think part of the problem is that people don't see new direction as a full gospel church and it is diffinitely not your traditional choir, they are more contemporary.  The only fault that I had with New Direction was with all the theatrics( during the time they where falling and taking off their robes) they lost contact with the microphones it was hard to hear them.  Also I did not understand their interpretation of the song. I don't know who the judges where but people judge everything based on life experience and not everyone loves traditional gospel and not everyone likes contemporary, I love both.
