Re: Crime out of control in Memphis

AngryYou know what I understand your dilemma,  but my uncle  was recently gunned viciously in his home because the bulls**t  you trying to justify. Look my at cousin and tell him why instead trying to pick out Father's Day gifts he was picking out a casket. I understand it is harder, but that does not  justify  robbing, drugs and taking lives. So being as my family struggles every day to pick up pieces  of our life to move on  you can save that I am just trying survive bull so are we . So don't tell me to face what is happening  I had to put my uncle in the ground a week after his birthday. We spent Memorial  Day planning his burial arrangements so don't dare tell us  to face what happen. He was going to work and provided for his family and for that he was robbed and put in the grave.  So what is your message saying   Mr. Educated  since we can't  provide for our family  so we will take your life and right away that is an unacceptable message. Children do crimes because they have nothing   positive to do so they result to vandalism, gangs, robbery, theft, and violence. Those  grown ass man as you so "eloquently" put it  had to start somewhere. The phrase "by any means necessary"  was said in a time of struggle and oppression  it was meant as empowerment to the black community not an excuse for  genocide.  Someone  made the decision that his possesions were worth him dying in a violent and cruel manner. I live everyday  with the fact that my uncle  who meant  so much to us life meant  nothing  to someone else.Broken Heart
