You never know what was disclosed  in that court proceeding but if that was true in  the case her testimony should be invalid. That raises some serious credibility and ethics issues  in that criminal case. Either her testimony should have been ignored or he should have excuse himself from  counsel. That could be considered as witness tampering depending how much involvement or influences contact he has with her. Those allegations could lead to serious ramifications  for the parties involved.
