How can one candidate recieve votes if  11 people are running that are of the same race.  Would we not have split votes?  Why isn't it agreed upon to have a couple run that are strong and knowledgable of the needs of the citizens of Memphis.  We may have someone for Mayor that has no real knowledge of finance or how the City is run because there are so many to compete against it makes a citizen such as myself not want to vote
